Bought canned, fairly recently canned at that. Pours a pale yellow, not entirely clear. Head is about an inch or more and pale white. I first saw this at a market, and I was skeptical. I love pilsners and lagers, so I thought what the hay. I became a huge fan after the third one. Very crushable, yet complex enough for my beer nerd tastes. Light and crisp. A pretty decent example of a pilsner, even if it's from the states.

Anthem Brewing is out west in OKC and they do a very good job of brewing as I’ve enjoyed several different varieties of their beers. This OK Pils however, is my favorite of all their types.
This Pils starts with a wonderful citrus aroma and initial taste. It has a nice sharp citrus bite at first that is refreshing without being overpowering. There’s a nice malt flavor that's straight out of Bavaria. The finish is slightly hoppy with a bit of bitter. It has a nice golden color and pours a smallish white head that’s a bit thin. It comes in at 5.5% which isn’t as strong as the flavor would suggest.
OK Pils is a extremely drinkable beer that can be enjoyed while watching The Game with The Bro’s, grilling steaks for company, or doing nothing at all while at the same time it’s a beer that’s sophisticated and complex enough in its flavors and aromas that even Beer Snobs would enjoy it.
This Pils reminds me of a really good German or Czech Pils and is one of my favorite American Made beers. It has a permanent spot on my Best Beer List.

Great for casual drinking. Forms a nice and big head and goes down smoothly. Would buy again

Crisp, refreshing, sweet malty flavor that's extremely crushable while also being complex and enjoyable. Hands down one of my favorite beers, one of the only craft beers I'll buy again and again.

Overall, a good beer of this style. The taste is fairly light and fresh with a good hop finish. I had not drank this beer before today so I will have another go at it at some point to confirm that the taste I got from this can is accurate.

I purchased a 4 pack of this during one of my last trips to Tulsa. My sister then drove it to Nashville for me with some other beers, where our families met and I was traveling by car rather than plane. The last couple beers from the pack had a lot of carbonation, which created a huge head. Perhaps it was getting a bit old? The first one that I drank in Tulsa prior to the beer car trips, it was a good example of the style -- crisp and refreshing. Two months elapsed before I had the others in the pack, though it was quite fresh when purchased.
