Had this back in the day before it became Shadow Shinobi and remember it being one of the best IPAs around. I definitely had a number of brews of this beer, both in bottles and on tap.

Wanted to try it at the PDX Int'l Beerfest last weekend, but that tap was dry by the time I got there.
...Fore-Shadowing Ninja?!
Purchased a bomber at a PDX grocery chain store for $5.49...a little harder to find around town than I expected. No dates on the bottle. Cool label!
""Note that it is 7.2% abv --- not 6.8% per this website.
Cloudy apricot pour. I gave a low rating on the look due to the insignificant head, and its quick dissipation.
But on all other counts, this is a very impressive IPA. Light and fruity on the tongue, no astringency or stickiness afterwards, very easy to drink. Too easy.
Delicious beer....wish it was available as a 6pk.

Clear Amber pour with a foamy white head. Aroma of pine sap, dank herbal notes, and a light caramel malt base with a toasted grain aroma and fresh baked bread. Taste is bitter, herbal hops, pine, light peppery spice and a semi sweet toasted malt base. Nice medium body and light, crisp carbonation. Beer finishes bitter but is a very good IPA.

This is a tasty beer. It comes packed with a middle shade of amber look to it. Not that dark but you can notice it when you pour it. ( I mean this in a good way) This is 100 % a IPA but its light and easy to drink. I like because of the hop to malt feel of it. 7.2 % and it doesn't feel like it. You should try it and see what you think, I like it but thats just me
