Clear yellow amber brew with plenty of foam that renews itself with a gentle swirl in the nonic. Pleasant sudsy mouthfeel. Very aromatic with cedar and orange, even a whiff of gardenia.
Moderate bitterness, like a dark, fruity marmalade that is only slightly sweet. Fairly rich and malty, with Just enough acidity to balance. On the strong side of the IPA spectrum, but it's no Imperial. Woody finish. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Special Brews in Lynnwood.

22oz bomber poured for samples
A — Pours a pretty light pale yellowy orange hue into the glass, there is a white head that forms and fades quickly, leaving behind some light lacing along the inside of the glass.
S — Smell is great, with nice bright tropical notes of pineapple, mango, lemon, lots of lemon and juicy orange.
T — Taste is quite contradictory to the nose, unfortunately, huge bitter notes of pine and earth, can taste a bit of a dirt or terroir element here that is borderline off-putting.
M — Medium bodied, dry and quick finishing.
O — Wanted to like this more, the nose was great, the flavor and body were not so much.
