Served On-Tap, and took a growler to go!
A — Pours a slightly hazy and pale yellow color into the glass, there is a creamy off-white colored head that forms a thin layer atop the beer, leaving behind some nicely consistent lacing with each sip.
S — Smells of light wheat notes, as well as some creamy oats, a bit of honey sweetness as well. Really nice and light while still being full of wonderful aromas and character.
T — Tastes nicely of pale wheat, creamy oats, semi-sweet and floral honey character. Light earthy balance as well, really well done without being overdone.
M — Medium bodied, lighter than expected, but really nice and refreshing, goes down really smooth.
O — Very nice overall, the Kottbusser style is great, though extremely few and far between, this is only one of two that I've had, but each has been great. Great balance here between wheat, honey, oats, just very nicely done.
