Swift and silent, full of flavor. This skilled, shadowy master of IPAs will take you by surprise yet honorably leave your palate intact. Aggressive late hop additions tempered with a stealthy, fleeting bitterness make Shadow Ninja IPA a formidable and respectable beer. 75 IBUs

It is another new brewery to me; I have never heard of Loowit. I am using an IPA glass, and the serving temperature is 44 degrees. The pour created a frothy, creamy, two-fingered head with average retention. The somewhat slow dissipation left bits of lacing on the glass. The color is amber-yellow light with a golden hue, and the clarity is clear, charting at SRM 6. The appearance is average; I enjoyed seeing some head retention.
In my first whiff of beer, I smell pine resin, floral bouquets, lemons, grapefruit, peaches, oranges, and herbal and light-toasted malts. Nosing the glass again, I smell yeast, light phenol, and malty sweetness.
Sipping the beer, I notice tangerine, peaches, light tropical notes, phenols, yeast, pine resin, floral esters, lemons, grapefruit, bay leaves, grass, a light malty sweetness, and toasted bread crust.
The mouthfeel is astringent, finishing dry. The body is medium-light and has medium carbonation.
Final Thought: I enjoyed this IPA; it is well-crafted and boasts a strong hop presence. It was a perfect start to this hot day in Idaho. I will look for more of this brewery's offerings in the future.

Pours a rich gold color, slightly hazy with a creamy white head. Sweet smell, candy like. Taste is a caramel flavor up front with a sweet citrus flavor on the finish. Mouthfeel is full bodied. A nice IPA.

Tropical buttery smell. Slight berry flavor. But big juicy slightly citrusy hop profile. “Stealthy, fleeting bitterness.” Nice lacing. Just over seven percent alc content.

I give this IPA a 5 on taste because I believe they've nailed it. It's my new favorite. First had it at Wild Fin in Vancouver, WA but it didn't register then. Bought a 6 pack of cans several weeks ago (having forgotten that I'd had it before) at home and I really liked it. Apparently, others here in Bend, OR feel the same because I bought the last 6 pack at my store tonight. I urged them to restock. It has a nice malt backbone without tasting too sweet or malty. The hops aren't too bitter or citrusy, which I love. Over all, this is a well balanced, full flavored beer without being too heavy bodied. Easy to drink if you like IPAs. Will savor this 6-er in case my shop doesn't buy more, in which case I will complain. Great IPA.

Appearance is a nearly transparent amber with a persistent off white head that leaves excellent lacing. Aroma is floral hops, reminiscent of rose petals. Taste has some floral elements, but is predominantly citrus pith and resinous pine, balanced by a nice malt presence. Finishes with a lingering bitterness.

Can of the new batch from ABV.
A clear copper with a dense, off-white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is decent. Candied grapefruit, pine, a mild cereal and dough character are present. Lightly toasted bread and spruce are also present. The palate opens bitter with grapefruit peel, grapefruit pith, a little pinesap before a grainy, mildly cereal like malt character takes over. Toasted wheat bread, a little toffee and caramel are present. Bitter on the finish with a lingering grapefruit pith, a little caramel and a little alcohol. Decent

Relatively clear golden orange with a foamy off white head. Nice retention and lacing.
Aromas of wet pine needles, melon, grapefruit, sugar, and a catty finish.
Flavor is mostly grapefruit rind and pine sap.
Light bodied with big carbonation and a bitterness that creeps up on you then lingers along with a very dry finish.
A solid IPA with excellent bitterness. Sharp and sneaky little thing. Cheers.

We are guessing this is not Shadow Ninja under a different name. Purchased as abomber. Dark amber pour, slightly cloudy / hazy. Thick off-white head, good retention. Citrus aroma along with some dark bread and yeast. Solid NWIPA, strong and hop forward with a lingering bitterness. There's still a fairly nice layer of malt. A solidly made ale.
