Appearance: Pours fudge colored with a beige head that fades to a film; multitudes of clinging dots
Smell: Strong mint and chocolate aromatics
Taste: Chocolate and mint from start to finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Its a one trick pony but what a trick; Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream is my favorite flavor and here it is in a milk stout; I enjoyed smelling it more than drinking it and couldn't finish the can but enjoyed it nevertheless
Thanks, The_Gingerbeard_man, for the opportunity

Pour is dark brown with some garnet highlights. Nice large medium/dark brown head that dissipates, but does so slowly and still leaves a ring of fluff that leaves a nice little bit of lacing up the glass.
First impression of the nose is the lighter grainier roastier side of stouts almost verging into porter range, but shortly after that the mint comes in. Good thing I really like mint. This has sharp bright peppermint oil... along with the roasty cookie malts and some faint chocolate it really reminds me of thin mint girl scout cookies. The mint seems to bring out the chocolate more, but distracts (moreso than dominates) from other specific flavours.
TLDR: this is liquid thin mints.
This still takes the template of thin mints, but seems to look more to andes for inspiration, then runs with it, but the center spins out a little. The mint is almost more like a mint soda with the carbonation, and roastier chocolatey malts hide a pleasantly bitter under layer. It all works really well together... for the most part. It gets a little incongruous on the finish where the mouth freshening mint can concentrate a little too much with the oily/bitter aspect of the stout and not become unpleasant, just kind of... offputting. The lactose could contribute to this as well.
I like this one overall, and that aroma leaves me anticipating GSC season at work and almost makes me feel crumbs in my beard. I like mint, though. This is not for someone who does not like mint. Otherwise it's definitely worth checking out at the very least.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque in the glass with a thin khaki brown head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet dark toasted malt and mint with a hint of cocoa. Flavor is dark toasted malt with mild char, mint, milk chocolate. Minty finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Delivers what it promises, with a mild stout, lots of mint and light, but authentic tasting chocolate. The mint is more like a chocolate mint candy, rather than herbal mint leaves and is a bit dominant. Mint is a strong flavor and it truth it is handled well here. It was a little too minty for me at first, but really grew on me as I drank the glass. Interesting uncommon style of stout.
