On tap at Homegrown, held at Lovin' Cup in Rochester, NY.
Full pour of this one. Uh, oh, the ABV's a bit high...
Pours a clear brown, with one inch of head, and not much lacing.
The aroma is of bourbon, sweet malts, brown sugar, molasses, and dark fruits.
Similar taste. The bourbon is well integrated- the barrels come forward more strongly through oak and vanilla flavors. Some dark fruits and molasses are also prominent.
The body is a little thinner than I would've liked it, but it's still ok. Very drinkable for the ABV. Creamy mouthfeel.
A surprise at Homegrown, this was awesome to find.
