On tap at the Genesee Brew House in Rochester, NY.
Pours a crimson amber, with a 1.5 inch head, and lots of foamy lacing. Slightly hazy, due to the unfiltered nature of this one.
Smells like dirty earthy pine, with strong cannabis under(over)tones as well.
The taste is similar. Very strongly flavored hop blast here- I'm surprised that Genesee would go this strong- but I'm pleasantly surprised. This one is bitingly bitter, and it lingered for about an hour after drinking it. Tons of pine, a bit floral, with lots of spicy herbal marijuana type flavors as well. No real malt character to speak of.
Medium bodied, crisp, clean, dry, bitter mouthfeel. Medium carbonation, prickly but nice.
The Genesee Brew House honestly puts out some of the best beer in the Rochester area. Get here!
