Genesee Brew House Harvest ESB - Genesee Brewing Co. / Dundee Brewing Co. Poured from nicholas2121's growler brought back from the brewery, Harvest ESB's got a 1/2inger thick eggshell brown mildly porous head, solid lacing, and a clear medium-dark amber body. Pretty appealing.
I can smell the hops used, most certainly. Along with rich, hearty grains. This sure smells "harvest-y"! Again, a very well executed platform of the brewing.
Alright, let's see how it tastes : a wet hop vibe is present, but certainly does not over power the richer malt complexes in this brew. A very,very well-balanced taste indeed.
Mouthfeel is clean and smooth. Not much hops lingering, maybe the aftertaste of a puff of decent cannabis.

Genesee Brew House Harvest ESB is a filtered brew- you can see right thought it. The smell is rich with flavor. You pick up on some malts and hops in the smell of this brew. The smell is nice and inviting. The taste is rich with hops, it is not overpowering at all. This brew has a nice balance too, nothing overpowering it at all. The mouthfeel is nice and hoppy with a clean smooth finish. Overall, I'm giving this brew a 4.25 out 5. Genesee Brewing Co. / Dundee Brewing Co. did a nice job with one. I wish I would have got more than one bottle at the brew house.
