On tap at Half Pint in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a glossy dark black, with a half inch off-white head, and a good amount of lacing.
This one smells pretty coffee-forward, as one would expect. There's some vanilla cream, maybe a bit of lactose, and some chocolate as well.
Though I wish this was a bit thicker in flavor and in body, this is still a good effort from Genesee. The coffee flavor is sweet and lightly roasty. There's a bit of vanilla cream, somewhat milky, almost like they added lactose to it. Not sure if they actually did, though.
This is medium bodied, slightly thin, but not watery. It has a creamy mouthfeel, and a lower level of carbonation.
Another really solid creation from the Genesee Brew House. I've always said they're one of the best local breweries around here.
