On tap at the Genesee Brew House in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a golden honey brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like bready and slightly roasted malt, honey, slight fruitiness, and caramel.
As expected given the Brew House's general talents, this is nice stuff. This particular batch is just a little bit sweeter than some previous ones, but it's got a great creamy flavor to it, honey-like sweetness, rich breadiness, and some light caramel.
This is medium bodied, fairly creamy, and very drinkable.
This went extremely well with a sausage platter at the Brew House. They do German-style beer very well.
