On tap at the Genesee Brew House in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a clear light-ish brown, with a small head, and not a whole lot of lacing.
Smells like toasted bread, toffee, and a bit of grassy hops.
This has a pretty nice hop bite to it and is a nice representation of the Sticke Alt style. The malt backbone is moderately strong, with toasted bread and toffee being the dominant flavors. There's a moderate hop character to this as well, mostly grassy and a little bit bitter.
This is lighter bodied, with a crisp mouthfeel.
Another solid beer from Genesee- they really do these sort of less-talked about styles well.
