On tap at the Genesee Brewhouse in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a nice dark black, with a good half inch head, and a bit of lacing.

Smells like nice clean roasted malt, earthy but sweet vanilla, rich dark chocolate, and just a slight hoppy bitterness.

This is definitely better than the last Hedonist chocolate collaboration, the Salted Caramel porter. It has a nice balance between the vanilla and the chocolate. The chocolate is dark and rich, with slightly sweet but also earthy vanilla character. There's a nice level of clean and tasty roasted malt. There's just a hint of hop bitterness from the East Kent Goldings hops.

This has a bigger feeling body than the ABV would suggest. It's super creamy, with a good level of carbonation.

Another home run from Genesee. It's probably surprising to some people that they're one of the best brewers in the area.
