Brewed as a "one off" for the annual Lilac Festival and coiming in at a wow factor 100 IBUs....
Had on tap at the BH, and can clearly say I have never tasted anything like this before. Initial impression was "run away", but decided to stay on board for awhile. Very distinct; saying its floral and herbal would be an understatement and I guess an oxymoron if the beer is made with lilac. The super high IBUs actually work and the sharp bitterness really works with the flower. Not sure what to do with it food wise or if I would drink again as a solo sipper. But glad I tried it. Kudos for going way outside the box.
