This one pours a light amber-ish color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
There's unfortunately a lot of diacetyl on the nose- it smells like slick butter, with a little bit of bourbon.
This definitely turned bad. It's a diacetyl mess, with musty and buttery flavors, and a strange bitterness. There's a little bit of oak, but the base scotch ale isn't all that apparent. I don't love this.
This is light bodied, a little bit thin, with a normal level of carbonation.
Genesee usually floats my boat. This beer doesn't, though.
