This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small white head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like oaky vanilla, milk chocolate, roasted malt, and smoke.
I wanted a bit more out of this one. It's tremendously watery and thin. The taste just falls off a cliff at the end- such a watery aftertaste. There's a nice bit of vanilla, though, some nice oak, but not much bourbon, with light chocolate and bitter roast. There's also some caramel and butterscotch as well.
This is very light bodied, very thin, and very watery. It's drinkable but a bit bland.
Last year's release of Reisky and Spies absolutely murders this. This is alright, but it seems like a bigger base beer was needed.
