This one pours a dark pinkish-reddish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like black raspberry puree, grassiness, and that classic sort of cream ale aroma you expect out of this.

This is more heavily fruited than the lemon strawberry cream ale - or maybe that's just my perception, as black raspberry is a stronger and more intense. You get that crispness and corny-ness from the base cream ale, with a nice authentic black raspberry character.

This is light bodied, with a nice creamy feel to it, and a very crisp finish.

I think I like the overall drinkability of the Lemon Strawberry Cream Ale better, but this is a really cool beer to be able to try.
