On tap at Genesee Brew House in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like berry, peach, an almost woodiness, wine, and stone fruit.
This is a nice little surprise from Genesee – they aren’t exactly masters of the IPA. It’s got an interesting woody bitterness, with some regular pine-like resin. The fruity hop character is strong, with peach and berry mostly leading the way, with an almost wine-like sweetness as well.
This is lighter bodied, with a very nice drinkability.
This is easily one of the better Genesee IPAs that I’ve had.
