Clear yellow beer with a fair sized white head.
Smell is clean and spicy with a strong saffron and grassy hop aroma. Nice toasted grain aroma with a little corn but not that much.
Starts out a strong toasted grain flavor. Little bit sweet with a lemon hop taste. Little bit grassy tasting this has a bit of hay taste about it.
Mouthfeel is good.
Overall this is a pleasant surprise. I looked this up before I bought it and i have always like Genesee Creme Ale. This is a good cheap beer! Never going to equal a top of the line pilsner, but this is about as good a a $7 a six pack beer gets!
