On tap at the brewery and a 750 ml crowler into a chalice.
L: SRM 19 Pours clear orange caramel Amber color with a fizzy off white head that goes to nothing, light carbonation, no lacing.
S: Caramelized malts, grains. A very light aroma overall.
T: Lightly sweet caramelized malts, brown bread, a hint of raisins, very light grapefruit zest zing esp in the finish. Overall malty, lightly sweet with a long fruity zesty aftertaste.
F: Moderately smooth medium-bodied feel with a medium-length gently drying finish.
O: The taste of this Maibock is a little less firm than many examples but all of the components are in place for a decent overall beer. It is good in its style.
