Really excellent brewery taproom, with a good rotating selection. Incredible food and excellent service. Located within crawling distance of my hotel. A must stop brewery in Duluth.

A family friendly place that sports a full restaurant. It's located in a busy and touristy part of Duluth due to lake and iconic lift bridge access. Has a parking lot and good sized patio and is bright and busy inside with plenty of seating. Has a straight bar with high chairs. Rock music and reggae are the musics on the speakers. View sitting at the bar are the taps and brew tanks. Very friendly service. Pretty good food. Menu is medium-sized. The beers are quite well balanced and are very tasty. They are very good. There's a two-door fridge at the entrance where they sell crowlers. I'll go back for sure.

Nice little brewpub right off the Lakewalk. Kettles are within view of the bar, samples are freely given and flights are good. When I was there they were out of growlers, could only get certain crowlers. Most was delicious.

This in a lake Superior side, leisure and touristic part of Duluth. This brewery/restaurant is very busy on a warm afternoon. The interior is good sized and the atmosphere is good and somewhat modern with a good bit of wood. It is solar powered. The labeled brew kettles are behind windows, behind bar. The food has a little bit of a creative bent, here and there. Not a big selection of beers, but are good to above average, such as the Hank & Dabs pale ale or Dawn Treader tripel.

Came here because I scored a free app coupon at the hotel and the menu looked good. The food is pretty good for pub food and the beer is good. Plus the kids menu has several good picks. Other than paying for parking this place was a hit for out last night in town.

Great location right on the lake. Foods good to average. Beer is at best average. More of a restaurant than a place for great beer.

Friendly and small taproom that also serves food with a nice patio open all year round with games available. The numbers of beer on tap is impressive, but are nothing special in terms of the other beers being made in and near Duluth. While I did not eat there, the food coming out did look delicious and seemed affordable. Definitely a place worth going to if staying in the Canal.

Great setting on the shores of lake Superior with the typical industrial/modern interior design and a great outdoor patio with firepit.
Beers I tried were all good, the food is outstanding although expensive. Service was excellent.
Selection of beers is limited but a decent variety.
All in all, a good time and worth the visit.

Great location right on Lake Superior.
Large bar to belly up and even more table seating. Outdoor tables and fireplace for when weather permits.
Staff friendly and efficient and food was quite good. We'll above par for a brewpub.
Only 8 beers on tap - I typically want more variety and options. But they had a 2 year old English barleywine that was solid. That tells me the brewers are serious.
Definitely worth a stop for at least one beer and a bite if you're in Duluth.

Overlooking Lake Superior makes this venue special in itself. Inside, the brewpub/restaurant is pretty standard. The bar is separate from the dining area for the most part. A selection of 8 or so of their beers are available and you can get full pints or flights of any size. I had to try a flight because the selection was pretty solid. I tried the imperial stout, dubbel, triple, brown ale, and red lager. Overall, decent brews; I was impressed with the imperial stout as that is my favorite and I tend to be picky. The bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient enough to put up with a bachelor party so props to them. I would definitely revisit if I was in the area.

Gorgeous outdoor seating during the summer and early fall, and a nice enough indoors when it inevitably gets too cold. It's bit of a tourist trap for sure, but don't let that discourage you, it's a pretty darn good tourist trap. Their beers are usually good but rarely great, but they've got a great variety so you're sure to find something you like. Service is outstanding, the waiters will happily describe the options to you and make recommendations. If you order the right stuff, you'll get some great food. Highly recommend the beer cheese soup and the fish and chips.

Convivial atmosphere, exceptional view of Lake Superior, decent menu, decent beer. I have only been there during the day and then the crowd has a lot of tourists.

Nifty modern spot on the shore of Lake Superior. Sat alongside a big firepit outside so our dog could join us - they brought him water and treats!
Service was awesome, staff knew the beers by heart and made solid recommendations. Seven taps, but seven distinct styles, plus a cask or two. Beer was actually pretty good, definitely more than we were expecting, and the food was well above standard pub food (but you pay for it).
If you bring your dog, it can't be beat for the area.
