The colour is dark warm brown (80 EBC), the liquid is clear. The two finger head is brown and compact. It sinks very slowly leaving some lacing. There is yeast particles on the bottom of the bottle.
The smell is smooth and complex. Sweet notes of caramel and toffee, but it is not a sharp sweetness. Yeast, cellars, earth, hints of iron and minerals. No bitterness.
The taste is sweet and smooth. Smooth clean malty notes. Caramel. Some earthy cellar flavours. Toffee and hints of chocolate. Medium body. The long aftertaste got sweet Coca-Cola-like caramel and notes of chocolate-flavoured toffee. Hints of yeast and boiled meats.
The carbonation is medium strong, the long-lasting bubbles are small. The liquid is medium light and a bit smooth.
This is probably the best Svagdricka I have had. At under 3 %, it got very elegant and complex flavours.
