20 Oct 2012: 33cl bottle at the lovely Diest bierfestival, shared with my wife.
Brown/dark red body with a tan/biege head.
This is a fairly sweet brew with malty molasses in both the nose and the taste: The malts aren't alone though, it is more complicated than that. Yeasty notes, summery fruits, with hints of spices and herbs: all have an appearance in the beer, some fleetingly, some lasting.
Complex and slightly oily texture to the bodyfeel. OK more than spectacular but glad we had the bottle.
