On tap at a brewfest. Reviewed from notes taken July 30, 2016.

Slightly hazy orange pour underneath a modest off-white head.

Traditional melted caramel or toffee characters and less emphasis on the hops. The hops I get are on the earthy side and not pungent in anyway.

The body was light to medium.

The flavor was far more caramel and toffee malt forward than hop forward for an IPA but from a UK traditional point of view this seems to be about right.

Sampled at the Granite State Brewers Fest. Slightly hazy golden color. Rich bready caramel and toffee maltiness. Earthy spicy lightly citrus and fruity hops to balance. Pretty proper English IPA.
