From the 25 fl. oz. bottle. Sampled on April 30, 2013.

The pour is an almost olive-yellow color like vegetable oil with a tremendous, fluffy white head on top and busy carbonation.

The aroma is very earthy but not earthy hops - just down to earth with barley malts, biscuit, grains, and a clean hop character tagging on at the end.

Smooth and creamy light body.

The pale malts and barley are upfront to greet you but it leaves a slightly lingering, low bitterness at the end. A very nice and drinkable Kolsch.

Pours a medium golden color with a huge frothy white head that persists forever. Smell of grainy almost sweet pilsner malt with a faint bit of spicy and floral hops at the edge of perception. Light grainy clean flavored brew with just a hint of spicy hop. Medium to light body with a crisp level of carbonation and a light dry grainy mouthfeel. Pretty spot on for the style, light clean and refreshing.

A: pours golden yellow with 2 fingers white frothy head, great retention and lacing. Nice frothy layer constant throughout drinking. A little hazy.

S: floral noble hops, hay, a little sugar cookie like sweetness

T: follows the nose with light floral hops, touch of a metallic/sulfur flavor(in a pleasant way), slight cookie sweetness, hay/wheat like flavor maybe a little mineral. Very good

M: light body, moderate carbonation, very crisp and clean mouthfeel. Nice after taste

O: a solid kolsch, nothing ground breaking but a good beer.
