Pours a four finger brown head that fades quickly leaving traces of lace. Black color, no highlights. Good carbonation and light bodied. Coffee nose and flavor is roasted coffee but too watery. Dry finish. $6 for a 22oz bottle from Farmer’s market Concord, NH. Being a nano-brewery in NH the brewer has to deliver this himself so check his website on where to get.

From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on May 5, 2013.
It pours brown but not quite black with a tan/mocha head that settles down to a ring.
Espresso or spent coffee grinds are clearly on the nose but not a lot else. Some dark malts and the oatmeal is near invisible.
The body was thin to below medium. Semi-creamy.
The taste also highlights the coffee and a vague sweetness with a moderate bitterness that ends dry but does not linger long.

Pours a solid black with a thinnish tan head that slowly recedes to minimal lace on the glass. Heavy coffee aroma with hints of roast, cream, cereal grain and light fruit. The flavor reminds me of weak coffee mostly. Espresso with a light bit of dark fruit and roast. Medium to thin body with a moderate level of carbonation and a roasty watery mouthfeel. This beer needs a bit of dialing in. The label calls this an espresso oatmeal stout, but it really drinks more like a dry stout. Missing is that creamy richness that I expect from oatmeal, and the addition of the coffee thins the hell out of the body here. Bump up the crystal and oatmeal or mash a bit warmer and this one could hold some promise as the coffee does come through nicely without any acrid bitterness.
