Rich flavors of caramel as it finishes on the tongue. Hints of cigar are in the mix. Roll a good unlit cigar in your mouth and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Abundant and thick head. Ruby brown color. Low carbonation.
Delicious aroma of fruit from its hops, specially apple and passion fruit. I guess there were some dry hopping.
In its taste hops are also evident, and toasted malt and caramel come into play.
Happy bitter aftertaste. Made my day. Chelarte is a new brewery from Bogota and I had the opportunity to get the first bottles that went to the market place. Their beers, like this one, have a interesting proposal giving its name accordingly to women personalities and artistic labels. I hope they do well and continue promoting good beer in Colombia.
