Traditionally brewed for the annual celebration of the marriage of Princess Therese to Bavarian Prince Ludwig, our version of Oktoberfest beer is named for the fair and fertile (she birthed 13 royals) Princess Elizabeth, the namesake of the river that courses through our region. This copper lager boasts the perfect union of caramel toffee sweetness with warm toasty maltiness. Enjoy with pretzels and mustard or a reuben sandwich.

The Princess has the typical Märzenbier features of a thick, off-white head, a clear, copper appearance, minimal lacing, a brown bread crust aroma and flavor, medium body, and a dry finish. The Princess might be slightly more bitter than the norm.

A tasty marzen on draft at the source. Pours copper with a thin white head. Aroma is malty/hay. Flavor is solid Oktoberfest, malty, sweet and just a touch of hops. Feel is good, rich mouth feel. Overall very good.

From the bottom of the can: "Canned 08/15/19"

Appearance: It is a light golden-brown color with decent clarity and a short white head. Not much retention.

Aroma: There is a light spicy hop aroma with a bit of malt scent.

Taste: It has a pleasant nutty malt flavor with a spicy and slightly earthy hop flavor.

Mouthfeel: It is well carbonated with a pleasant mild bitterness. Smooth and easy to drink.

Overall: It is a very enjoyable Oktoberfest with a pleasant spicy flavor to it. It is easy to drink more than one can because it has a nice easy character to it. I would buy it again. It's worth picking up.

This is really more of a hoppy amber, though it does still retain a German feel, presumably due to the grains and hops used. Call this a fully American Octoberfest. Taking it for what it is, it’s a well made beer.

Poured a copper orange body with one finger head and lace. Dry aroma with a bitter veg like hop note and touches of bread malt. Beer is deeper than aroma with a fuller sticky caramel sweetness and this dry hop crispness on finish and is an enjoyable and light Oktoberfest beer.
