Have you experienced uncomfortable pauses in a conversation? Then you need to spend some time with Awkward Silence, a bold and flavorful Double IPA brewed with Citra and El Dorado hops. This hop lineup is bursting with tropical fruit notes and citrus aromas while 2-row, wheat, flaked barley and flaked wheat give the beer a nice balance. It’s this year’s successor to 2016’s Inside Voice DIPA and will surely give you something to talk about. Enjoy with sharp cheeses, fish with mango salsa, or smoked ribs.

Deep yellow, clear with decent head and big foamy lacing. Aroma is relatively light for a DIPA and taste is bitter with hops yet comes forth with pineapple and other assorted tropical fruits. Finish is pineapple and hop bitterness mostly. Alcohol is a player but not too much, right to the edge.
