From the label on the can, under the bar code: "CANNED ON 02/23"
Appearance: It is a medium gold colored beer with pretty good clarity. There is only a light bit of haze to it but it is very easy to see through. It has a medium-sized fluffy white head with very good head retention and it leaves nice thick sheets of lacing on the glass.
Aroma: There is a light herbal and noble hop note to the beer which comes across a bit like bay leaf. It has a light bit of spice on the nose.
Taste: There is a light bit of a cereal grain flavor that floats on the palate at different areas and different times. while drinking the beer. It has a light bit of an earthy and herbal hop flavor that pops in and immediately goes away. A light bit of alcohol is also present.
Mouthfeel: It is a clean tasting beer that is very effervescent. It has a pleasantly light mouthfeel that finishes semi-dry. It is nice to drink but it feels a bit watered down.
Overall: The label states that this is a "MARSHMALLOW BLONDE ALE" and as a whole it is an okay blonde ale. As a simple blonde ale without any extra frills it would be an alright beer to drink, although it feels a bit light on the body. The back of the label states "INGREDIENTS: WATER, 2-ROW, PILSNER MALT, WHEAT, PUFFED RICE, VANILLA, MARSHMALLOWS, HOPS." The idea they are trying to convey is that this will taste like Rice Krispie Treats and it doesn't The vanilla doesn't come through and there's no marshmallow flavor or anything. It does have some cereal grain flavor but no more than the average blonde ale that isn't leaning into a gimmick. It's still an okay beer but I would not recommend it if you are looking for vanilla flavor. I doubt I would buy it again.
