There label on the can says: "CANNED ON 03/23"
Appearance: The body is a beige-orange color which looks a bit dark. It is completely opaque. The head is very oversized to the point where it takes up nearly half the glass. The head is an off-white color and it lasts a long time. It has some splotches of lacing on the glass. It isn't the most appealing looking beer with the dark beige color and the huge head capped on top.
Aroma: There is a light bit of pine and some orange peel. These flavors are mixed together with a light alcohol aroma.
Taste: Up front there are notes of lemon and pine. Towards the middle of the mouth there is a dusty caramel flavor with a bit of orange and alcohol. The back of the palate is pine and some hay grass flavor. The aftertaste is a bit of caramel with a touch of pine and more of that grassy flavor. Interspersed throughout drinking is a light cabbage flavor as well.
Mouthfeel: The body feels heavy with a prickly sensation that is present over the tongue. It is a slow drinker because of how heavy it feels. There is a medium hop bitterness with a touch of hop burn.
Overall: The label on the can states that this is a "HAZY IPA" although it seems to align more with the modern New England IPA rather than the traditional unfiltered or hazy IPAs. It is a pretty subpar attempt at the style which brings a body that is too heavy and a caramel presence which fights against the already awkward hop flavors. I wouldn't buy it again and I don't recommend it.
