Our mainstay IPA has aromas and flavors of pungent pine, citrus, and pineapple, with a sweet malt presence and notes of toffee and caramel. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, and a bitter, clean finish.

A well-done IPA sampled on tap at Grand Rapids Brewing Company. Pours an orange-yellow color with a fair amount of white head and rings of lingering lacing. Aromas of tropical fruity hops - pineapple, mango, orange, lemon, grapefruit - as well as some malt, vanilla and caramel. Taste follows the nose. Some piney notes in the background. Good balance between the sweeter malt backbone and bitter hoppy bite. Smooth, mild, slightly sticky mouthfeel and good carbonation. A very enjoyable offering.

On tap at the brewery. Look is a medium orange and clear. Smell is light citrus. Taste is ok, some bitter slight juicy hops. More of a classic IPA than new bright hop flavors. Somewhat malty as well. Feel is good, with a decent alcohol burn. Overall a decent IPA but not remarkable.
