This was copied from their website. A collaboration with Pilot Malthouse and Bad Moon Studio. Pilot smoked a bag of organic rye malt while a Moon provided the bourbon barrel staves to smoke it with. We brought it all together for flavors of coffee, chocolate, biscuit and smoke. A Smoked Rye Porter they are calling it. A good porter not too sweet, easy to drink. In the dimly lit bar of the brewery it was dark in color with a small reddish brown head with large bubbles. Chocolate was more dominant than coffee.
