I tried this off the tapper at the Armed Gardens in Davenport, Iowa. It poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had mild fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with mild fruit hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is an ok beer.

Can from JCWattsRugger, thanks for the opportunity.
Lightly hazy orange gold in color with a moderate finely bubbled white head that slowly recedes. Spicy earthy citrus marmalade and pine hops with a fairly solid bready light caramel maltiness. Light spicy alcohol bite. I liked it but I would have enjoyed a bit more of the rye.

Good double IPA. A bit too warm in the mouthfeel to be perfect, but we’ll shy of the heavy booze bombs that many in this style are. The rye definitely shows up in the flavor in a really nice way that jives with the hops nicely. Aroma is not super pronounced, but is pleasant and delicately tropical with a bit of biscuity malt. Give it a shot if you like DIPAs, Confluence rarely disappoints.
