Not sure if this is a series…if so, this is the Azacca, Krush, and Luminosa version. And, it is from a single tallboy I picked up in Dubuque, that, unfortunately, was about 3 1/2 months old, so…I’d expect it is a better beer fresh. Anyway: poured into a nonic, it is kind of a half hazed slightly amber orange…none of the chalky color some in the style have. Nose is great: tangerine, lemon peel, bready malts, some sweet grassy hay. Taste follows, but doesn’t quite live up to the nose…lots of citrus notes, not so many earthy or herbal ones…and the juiciness has a slight edge that I’m not crazy about. A little thin and watery mouthful, for the style. Again, hopefully I’ll have a chance to revise this when I try a version that is more fresh.

Medium light, cloudy orange, with some milky amber highlights, to the look. Grapefruit/tangerine peel, with a slightly sweet, medium toast malt aroma. Light in the body. Tangerine peel and some medium toast malt, in the background of the taste.

4-pack of cans poured into tulip at home. Lovely NEIPA. Also had later on tap at St. Burch.

Pours a hazy golden orange color. Smells of malt, tropical, and earthy hops. Sweet profile with mild bitterness. I wish the flavor packed as much of a punch as the aroma. Soft body, medium mouthfeel.
