Came out of retirement, I guess. Had on tap at Iowa Taproom, first foray at a bar/restaurant since COVID. Sheesh I was scared before walking in the door, but it sure feels good!

Poured into a tulip. Appearance is a bit darker than I like my IPAs, but within style guidelines. Smell is strongly hoppy, but not as strong as I would’ve expected from a DDH beer. Delightfully pungent and bright. I hear it’s dry hopped with citra and mosaic, wouldn’t have called it that, but what else is a brewer gonna do these days, lol

Shared from a can with a friend on August 15, 2020. This one was a 2020 batch.

Orange colored pour with a modest white head. Decent clarity.

This one was the Double Dry-Hopped Citra with Tangerine and Orange Peel and yes, most definitely, all of those tropical and citrus fruity characters were vibrant in the aroma.

Smooth light-medium mouthfeel.

The flavor was sweet and brimming with tangerine and orange juicy fruits. Clean finish. Enjoyable.

Smuggled over state lines in cans. Appearance is clear golden copper with limited lacing. Nice aroma of citrus, slight pine resin and touches of tropical. Taste is a pleasing combination of clean bready malt, a touch of caramel, and a light body. Not bitter at all, must be a lot of late hop additions. Great flavor, but body and balance are a little weak. Still a very good beer that I would happily drink again. 4.1 stars.

This would be in my fridge full time. With Extinction Event. Those 2 are on par with the Toppling Goliat ipas.

After drinking this how can I ever go back to the OG. Pours a golden amber. Smells and tastes like hop layers for days. Seems less bitter and more mellow than its predecessor. More fruity flavor moderate carbonation.
