A Cream Ale is a bit of an ambassador for the craft brewing industry. Designed to be light, refreshing, and approachable (but certainly not creamy, despite the name), a solid ale crafted with passion and high-quality ingredients has turned many drinkers of fizzy, yellow, mass-market beer into true lovers of the craft. It's fitting, then, that we would brew our first cream ale in partnership with The Carson King Foundation, a nonprofit that started when their founder tried to buy some of that fizzy yellow beer. Carson King also works as an ambassador, bringing people together to support causes in need. Confluence is proud to donate a quarter of the net proceeds from the sales of this beer to Orchard Place, a staple of the Des Moines community.
