When a major portion of our 50’s Dad barrel samples came back from our lab, like, totally infected, we kinda started wiggin’ out. A 50’s Dad Brunch without a righteous amount of 50’s Dad? Heinous! But at Confluence, we keep it chill like Don Johnson, and we were able to hatch a pretty fly plan. What about 50’s Dad, but totally fresh? Sounds like a pretty Rad Dad! Without the influence of a bourbon barrel, the dark malts in the base beer get the chance to shine, combining with smooth cacao, scrumptious coffee, and killer creamy vanilla into one bodacious milk stout. Duuude. All I know is you HAVE to get some.

Very dark and rich for a 6.7% beer. Lovely appearance with great retention of dark brown head and pitch black liquid. Smell and flavor of chocolate and coffee; nicely bitter. Such a good stout! This should be the standard form rather than the variant. Thank you Confluence!

Pint can from John’s poured into tulip at home. Black with nice thick head. Milk chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Rich and tasty.
