S’mores naturally evoke the sweet memories of childhood—from summers spent at sleep away camp to backyard barbecues with friends that would ramp up to sugar-fueled, late night sleepovers. We’d spend endless hours licking each finger clean of the gooey, pillowy marshmallows and sweet, melty chocolate that always managed to escape the bed of your crispy graham cracker. Well, at Confluence, we thought we’d have a sleepover of our own and boil our stout overnight. More than 12 hours of boil time thickened, reduced, and concentrated our wort into a sweet, thick, chocolatey mess that mirrors those molten squares from our childhood. A pile of creamy vanilla and a touch of graham cracker extract later, and Sleepover S’mores became the adult treat.
