In brewing, sometimes things just don't go according to plan. While brewing what was intended to become a white stout, most of the recipe's base malt was accidentally left out of the batch. Mistakes aside, we ended up with a surprisingly tasty, oatey, blonde ale that was begging to be put to good use! A heaping helping of roasted peanuts and a dash of sea salt later, our mistake turned into a delicious treat that no amount of planning could have made any better.
