For nearly half a century, teams of cyclists from across the country have been coming together for an annual bike ride across Iowa. What began as a humble tour of our great state has blossomed into a 7-day celebration, forging new friendships and strengthening old ones. Brewed in support of one particularly awesome team, this beer was designed to their specifications to create one supremely crushable brew! A blonde ale base provides a pillowy and sweet malt bill balanced with a dash of Lotus hops for a touch of bright orange citrus and subtle vanilla. We doubled down on those notes with a tandem blend of whole bean vanilla and our house-made orange soda to turn this blonde ale into the perfect cycling beer: a Radler!
