You know, I'm kind of torn on this one. When I had it one week ago, I thought it was excellent - basically, I though it rivaled Pilsner Urquell. When I had it this week, however, the taste and smell totally changed; there were hints of sulfur and metal in the beer. For the sake of this review (and the beer itself), I'm just going to assume that the beer was contaminated the second time around. Here goes:
A: Nice head and lacing; the head lingers and leaves adequate lacing around the glass. The beer pours a very clear straw color as well, which is good. The beer isn't very well carbonated throughout, however, which is surprising considering that it came from a tap line.
S: Nice and grassy; fair amount of lightly-kilned malt as well. Interspersed with light, peppery flavors from the yeast. Basically lots of lemon and grass on a peppery backbone.
T: Nice, follows the nose with an emphasis on the lemon and grass.
F: Smooth and crisp, albeit not as well carbonated as many of the other Pilsners I've had.
O: Good beer. Would have again assuming an uncontaminated tap line.
