A beautifully purple “Simple Sour”, Blackberry Supernova radiates from the cosmos as a slightly tart, yet unsurprisingly drinkable offering. Brewed with malted wheat and flaked oats, then lightly hopped and fermented with a tasty puree of fruit, Blackberry Supernova is a cosmic creation bursting at its core with a bright berry-like sweetness and a pleasantly refreshing tart finish.

Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a gorgeous violet with pink head. Highly carbonated. A really beautiful beer.
Nose: Blackberries immediately. Tart, leather, funk, and oak. Smells super fresh and crisp.
Taste: Surprisingly not very sour. Definitely a tart and bitter taste right away. The leathery aftertaste is fairly strong. The blackberries are definitely there on the taste, but somewhat muted. I get the vanilla for sure, but also not very dominant. Definitely a nice fresh taste.
Mouthfeel and overall: The mouthfeel is light and crisp, with a bitter aftertaste. Overall, a really enjoyable sour ale, but not quite as sour as I would have expected.

10/10/20....pours reddish pink, darker, fully settling foam. Fruity nose, light throughout. Opening sour flavor that shifts fruity. Blackberry/watermelon flavors too,. Pucker holds up. Smooth/.
