Pours around a finger of tan foam, it starts popping and sizzling off right away to leave a thin surface dusting, no lacing. Liquid looks like apricot juice, perhaps darker than many peers, fully opaque. Dense nose of wet herbal matter, grapefruit and orange pulp, pine sap, coal tar, overripe mango, papaya fruit, clingy texture without any lifting perfume, nothing subtle here. Full-bodied, same character here, soaks into the palate despite the pleasing carbonated prickle. Thick enough to cut with a knife, the pineapple, cherry, guava, papaya fruit could be canned and sold as fruit cocktail. Same high level of damp leafy matter, no edge to its overall greenness. Moderate tartness to the pink grapefruit citrus element. Slight retronasal floral breeze. No lack of flavor but comes off as clunky. (No canning date, best by 12/5/20 stamp)
