A solid BW from the Boulder peeps.
Pours a dark burgundy, and brown. The head was a bit small, but I think that was due to the pour.
Smells of hazel nuts, rich malt and some viney grapes. A bit of caramel as well.
Taste is hard to pin down. I sense some dark fruits and light nuts. A bit of raisin maybe. After a sip of water the black cherries rush out, nice flavor.
Alcohol is a bit warming. Smooth drinking. I like.
