Copenhagen 30/6 2025. 33 cl bottle from Systembolaget, Emporia, Hyllie. Pretty plain blue label with the name of the beer in golden yellow letters.
Pours opaque, dark mahogany with a mid-sized beige head. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and malty odor mingling with a boozy scent of dark alcohol. Earthy notes. Sweet dark malts, a bit brown sugar, toffee, sweet dark liqueur. Tobacco and leather.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick. oily, soft yet lively and tingling texture
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sourishly bitter with a distinct sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with a prominent touch of alcohol.
If you are not afraid to become a bit tipsy - you can drink it anytime.
