Pours a very dark, tea-like amber with a little bit of soapy head.
Smell is sweet and fruity, very much like ice tea with a floral hint.
Taste is fruity and muddled with notes of ice tea, rubber, rye and a sharp, almost acidic bitterness. Metallic hints on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, but almost flat.
Overall, a dreadful beer. I went a few years between trying these guys, just to see if they would get their act together. They have not. Judging by reviews, batches vary wildly and it's just not well made at all.

A: Pour is slightly hazy copper under a tall compact, but still light, compact head that slowly dissipates into rich lacings.
S: Lots of bitterhops and sweet caramell malt up front, then there are floral hops; piney and citric, but also with grass and nettles. Bready.
T: Follows the smell, but a little less well balanced. The bitter hops dominates over the caramell malt as well as the floral hops. Rye bread.
M: Aftertaste is short and mostly bitter. Body is a bit rough but full, while carbonation is medium strong.
O: An AIPA that is a bit rough around the edges.
