Viscous jet with no head. 3.75
Spice cake, cedar, port - nuanced. 4.25
Big chocolate, sweet licorice, smooth round spice in the middle, hints of toast and cherry, and sweet roasty end. 4.5
Medium+, chewy, sily. 4.25
Nose “like a fine wine,” says Dad. Spice is super integrated. Brown sugar notes of rum plus oaky vanilla needs some char or tannins to tame it. And falls down in showing signs of underattenuating: too syrupy and doesn’t clean up well. But lovely for Christmas. 4
