On tap at the brewery into a NBB pint glass. Deep dark, near chocolate looking red with cascading carbonation rising up. When held to light it's a brilliant deep copper, transparent and clear. Aroma is interesting to say the least. Roasted barley, chocolate, sweet caramel, bread, and nice hints of citrus & floral hops. On the palate is identical with everything in a nice balance. Bitter and hoppy enough to be in the "craft amber" category, but complex enough in the malt character to standout. Body is light-medium, making for a very sessionable beer. A great take on an American Amber.
