16 oz can ftpm Boise Coop. Looks about right for a hazy, nothing out of place. Aroma is some citrus, tropical and a hint of dank. Taste comes in juicy, but the dank hops tone down the fruity flavors. Mildly sweet, mildly hoppy.

I'll need to try this again, We were given a free sample so perhaps they're making it again but unfortunately to me it just did not taste good at all. I'd like to give it another shot.

i believe this second volume was done with mango, but the fruit is quite a bit less robust than it was in volume three, which i reckon to be the superior of the two beers, but freshness could also have something to do with it. if this preceded the third one, which would make logical chronological sense, and i had that one probably a month ago, this one could be a little dated by now, depending on the proximity of their respective releases. either way, the hops still taste great, and the beer is almost refreshing for the style, not as heavy as so many, but it does pale in comparison to the third one, at least for me. a juicy yellow to orange color with a short lived white head and a nose more of citrus than of tropical fruit for me, a citra and simcoe hop complex seems likely, although it could be a number of varietals in the works here. if there is mango in this, its either faded or fermented mostly out, i get a little generic sort of fruitiness to this, but it could just as easily come from hops, and the beer is off dry at the end where the fruit could really stand out, but it never really rises up. i do like there being a little pithy bitterness to the hops, i think it helps keep this drinking like an ipa, and here the hops still seem plenty fresh to me. there is a lightness to this which is great, lighter than it even looks like is possible, and i dig that, good carbonation here too even though the head settles fast. a fine beer, less unique and captivating than the third one in this series, but still worthwhile. i have liked the hoppy stuff from these guys the best so far...

16 oz can. Pours murky yellow with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet citrus juice with some piney hops.

The flavor is sweet juicy citrus fruit with a balancing dry finish. The hops are a bit subdued. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and a bit watery.

Overall, a nice NE IPA.

Poured from a 16oz can with no noticeable born on date; into a pub glass.
Appearance- a very hazy, funky straw yellow with a medium thin, pillowy white head that leaves tons of thick, sticky lacing!
Smell- mango, pineapple and lemon juice!
Taste - heavy on the mango with less pineapple and lemon as indicated in the nose, and more tang and grapefruit!
Feel - a bit soft and creamy with a bitter finish!
Overall- a really well done, unique approach to a hazy; very funky, but not overly juiced!

4pack of 16 ounce cans. They tout freshness on the label but the cans have no dating.

It pours a hazy yellow with an impressive head of foam and lacing.

Fruity citrus hop aromas, with a piney dank overtone. Some onion adding to the dankness.

Lovely dank and fruity hop taste. Fairly low level of bitterness other than that dank and piney flavours. Passionfruit zipping up to the forefront after further sips.

Mouthfeel does feel buttery.

Excellent.

A pint can with no apparent date stamp poured in a 14oz. snulip. The clerk at the store I purchased it at said it was recently received.

Look- Pours a hazy yellow bringing a thick finger of creamy foam that refuses to settle. Thick lacing decorates the glass.

Smell- Mango, passionfruit, floral, mild onion and garlic.

Taste- Mango, orange, pineapple, passionfruit and floral. A hint of fresh rubber in the finish.

Feel- Creamy, slightly thin and pillowy soft.

Overall- The clerk said this beer was brewed by a former brewer at Melvin and was getting some attention. The $9.89 price for a four pack of pint cans got my attention. The feel may be it's biggest shortcoming and I say that tongue in cheek. The smell and taste delivers for the style and this is a solid no brainer purchase.
